Replies in two working days

Let’s talk.

One address, read by a person. Questions about a plan, corrections to a cut list, or a photograph of what you built.

What happens after you write

No forms, no ticket numbers, no automated first reply.

  1. 01

    You write

Use the address above, or one of the specialist desks below if the matter is formal. Include the link to the plan you are working from, and a photograph if there is something to show — those two things are what turn a general answer into one about your build.

  2. 02

    A person reads it

Every message is opened and read, then passed to whoever can answer it properly. Nothing is sorted by a bot, nothing enters a ticket queue, and nothing is answered from a template.

  3. 03

    You get a reply

Within two working days, Monday to Friday. Anything that arrives over a weekend is answered on the Monday. If a question needs a plan to be re-checked or a cut list corrected, you are told that rather than left waiting.

Who you will hear from

Design and rights questions are handled by name, and separately from build questions.

Designs
The plans in this library

Questions about how a plan is designed rather than how to build it — why a joint is cut the way it is, what a dimension is doing, or whether a piece can be made wider. Ana designed the plans this library is built from.

Grace White

Copyright manager

Permission to use a plan, a photograph or a cut list elsewhere — in a class, a magazine, a video or another site — and how to credit it. Requests are answered in writing, with the terms set out plainly.

Cody White

Marketing manager

Cody looks after how the library reaches people. He works with woodworking sites, schools and makers who want to feature a plan, handles press and partnership requests, and decides which projects lead the home page as the seasons turn. If you run a class, a workshop or a channel and want to point people here, he is the one to ask.

Specialist desks

Role addresses for anything that has to be on the record. Each one reaches the same people, and keeps working when one of them is away.

Copyright

Permission and credit. Reaches Grace, and stays open when she is away.

Includethe plan link, where it will appear, and who the audience is

DMCA

Formal notices under the DMCA. Checked daily, and acted on before it is argued about.

Includethe exact URLs, proof the work is yours, and how to reach you

Legal

Anything from a lawyer, or a notice that must be served formally.

Includethe matter, any deadline, and who you act for

Common questions
