    Send the details

    Four fields: your shop name, the listings or case numbers, an email for the reply, and what you want us to look at. The form opens your own mail app so you can attach anything that supports your case.

    A person reads it

    Every appeal is read in full by a person, against the original report. Nothing is decided by a template and nothing is auto-rejected.

  3. 03

    You get a decision in writing

    Within five working days, with the reason. If the report is withdrawn we notify Etsy directly and tell you when it is done. If it stands, you are told why, so you can decide what to do next.

You can file a counter-notice with Etsy instead of, or as well as, writing to us. That is your right under the DMCA, it does not depend on us agreeing, and Etsy sets out how in the notice they sent you.

Using this page does not waive that right and does not extend any deadline Etsy has given you. If a deadline is close, use the counter-notice.
